Desso extends ‘Make it your own’ collection with ‘Pixelate’ and ‘Metallic Shades’ launch

DESSO®, a Tarkett brand, has extended its leading ‘Make it Your Own’ carpet collection with the launch of two new product ranges; Pixelate and Metallic Shades.

The ‘Make It Your Own’ collection combines textures, colours and material effects to give architects and designers limitless opportunities to create unique spaces with an individual atmosphere, identity and personality.

The two new product ranges in the collection – Pixelate and Material Shades – will join Carved and Stitch, which launched earlier this year.

 

Pixelate is inspired by colour layering and is available in eight colours. The eye-catching carpet tiles have a soft gradient design with a transition between two different yarns, one plain and one multi-coloured. The tiles are designed to be installed randomly with the gradient of the products appearing in different directions for a truly unique appearance. The multihued yarns also give designers and architects the opportunity to match colours to interiors, paint, furniture and wall coverings.

The Metallic Shades range has been created to inspire designers and architects to experiment with lustrous and matte effects. The ten colours, which include Copper Mauve, Silver Black, Gold Griege, Silver Light and Pearl Beige, are each available in two different tile formats with differing intensity of metallic yarn. The tiles can be used as a single colour on a large surface, or in combination to create zoning and transition between spaces.

In keeping with DESSO’s Cradle to Cradle® philosophy, all products in the ‘Make It Your Own’ collection are delivered with EcoBase™ backing as standard, that is 100% recyclable. The innovative backing also contains 100% up-cycled chalk from local drinking water companies.  DESSO is the first carpet brand in the world to use the upcycled calcium carbonate.
