Next up in our Inside the Interior Industry Series is DESSO. Desso provides high quality flooring designs including carpet tiles, broadloom and artificial grass pitches. It was founded in 1930 in the Netherlands producing both commercial and residential woven carpets. Today it is trading in over 100 countries.

Its innovative products have achieved dust reduction with the DESSO AirMaster® and also a silver certificate in the Cradle to Cradle® category for the DESSO EcoBase®.
3. Certified in Cradle to Cradle and sustainability achievements
Desso recently achieved the Gold level certification for its new carpet tile collection. It was the result of seven years development and contributes to the sustainable economy. Over 50% of Desso’s carpet tile products are available with the recycled yarn made from 100% regenerated nylon.
In their continued goal for sustainability they also offer a Take Back service. This enables worn out carpets to be treated and reused rather than adding to land waste sites.
