Southgate Lighting is at the forefront of energy efficient, cost effective lighting solutions. Their team of engineers/designers stay with projects from initial consultation and design through to manufacturing, delivery and site commissioning.
Originally established in 1965, the company started out as a Metal Fabrication company. They soon became well known and recognised as a manufacturer producing high quality, high volume UK manufactured components. These components were used in various industries from automotive parts to lighting fixtures.
But in 1990 the company began specialising in producing lighting and Southgate Lighting was born. Now, whether it be LED, Lighting Control or Building Management Systems, Southgate are offering lighting solutions for all environments.
Situated in a 5000 square metre purpose built factory in Drighlington, they are in prime location for deliveries throughout the UK – ensuring customers receive their ordered products on time and in pristine condition.
From Emergency Luminaires, LED Luminaires to Lighting Control Systems, Southgate Lighting have developed a comprehensive range of products.
Since its beginning into producing lighting, the company has made a strong impression within the UK market. The experience of the team are one of the main reasons behind this reputation. Lighting specialists are there to assist clients during every step of the process, no matter what you are after. From design and build, value engineering or uniquely designed and built luminaires, Southgate work hard to ensure the requirements are met and produced to a high quality.
Southgate’s approach to the lighting industry is “big enough to cope, small enough to care” providing onsite assistance throughout the process to achieve the clients ambition for each project.
This personal dedicated approach from start to finish ensures project knowledge in depth is maintained enabling design discussions and alterations to be achieved effectively. Their one to one approach is and always has been the Southgate Way.
